A union of love for one another and the beautiful art of hair. The power duo never thought about naming a salon or anything else; however, the cycle of life has a funny way of bringing things back around full circle. Both Nyron and Mary Catherine hail from generations of hairstylist! Anna Thomas was Mary Catherine's maternal grandmother, she loved natural hair. Nanny (as she was affectionately called) pressed hair until her health declined and she was unable to do so. Mary K. Davis was Nyron’s maternal grandmother, she was also a great hair stylist. Their love for their grandmothers and hair contributed to the naming of their shop.

Anna Kay's is their way of paying homage to the great stylists that preceded them.
